Tigershark sophomore swimmer Ryan Traeger had the best finish for Hutchinson in the Class A State Meet. Trager, who missed the finals by .01 second Friday, finished first in the consolation heat with a career-best 57.48 for ninth place.
Traeger also helped the 200 medley relay team to an 11th place finish with a time of 1:44.67. Joining him Saturday were seniors Evan Glasson and Matt McKeever as well as sophomore Dalton Theis.
Glasson placed 13th in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:08.18, while McKeever was 15th at 59.49 in the 100 backstroke.

A new study confirms that youth involved in 4-H are leaders, contribute to their communities and are civically engaged, which strengthens communities. The 4-H Study of Positive Youth Development is finding that youth involved in high-quality, structured programs during out-of-school time, such as those offered by Minnesota 4-H are more likely to experience positive youth development.
