Cindy’s House of Floral becomes Crow River Floral

When Cosmos native Jeanne Schealler moved back to this area after living several years in Ohio and purchased Cindy’s House of Floral Design, she kept the popular shop’s well-known name.

Now, almost two years later, she is redressing the shop at 136 Hassan St. S.E., as Crow River Floral & Gifts.

“I wanted to pick a name people would remember and thought Crow River was essential to the community and that it would be long-standing,” she said.

The name also illustrates that Schealler has expanded the business beyond being a full service florist providing flowers for all occasions to add a line of gifts.

Crow River Floral & Gifts is hosting a holiday open house from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 14.
