Does anyone know where I can buy a krumkake iron locally? OR do I have to go all the way into the Metro area to get one?
Mother-in-law made them every year but she no longer can. I LOVE them and have decided to try making them myself and start a new holiday tradition.
I have been suffering from the side effects of Levaquin since June, 2009. Going to three doctors, and recently two surgeons, has kept me going.

The Willmar Northwoods League team will unveil their team name and logo on Wednesday, December 2 at the Holiday Inn-Conference Center from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Last weekend I made my first pilgrimage to Crypticon, an annual horror convention in the Twin Cities.
For the closest
shave ever, try
a rusty machete! It was my first-ever horror convention and I had a blast. This should come as no surprise to anyone that's ever read this blog or listened to "Six Minutes Over Hutchinson." If it creeps, crawls, bleeds or oozes on-screen, I'm all over it.
I got some great deals on a couple movies I'd been wanting to buy forever, which is always fun. But the real treat was rubbing elbows with the celebs.
Here's me chillin' with Bill Moseley, who starred in Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects," and "Halloween." He was a very nice, down-to-earth guy. I told him I could hardly recognize him sporting short hair, a clean shave and not killing anyone.
Recognize that guy on the left? Don't feel bad if you don't. Steve Dash played Jason in most of "Friday the 13th: Part 2." The veteran stuntman/actor wore a burlap bag over his head the whole time. Apparently he wasn't told about this part of the job until he arrived on the set. Dash also said he didn't know Jason had no dialog at the time he accepted the gig. Dash said he was offered the part of Jason for Part 3 but passed on it, a decision he now regrets.
Brett Favre joined the Vikings this week. How much can his leadership and skills help the Vikings this season?
Last year I heard the city was planning to put a bike path on School Road North but I haven't heard anything about it this year. Does anyone know if this is still planned?
The news of singer Michael Jackson's death reminded me of an eye-opening experience of his international appeal.
Does anyone know if the city has sprayed yet? I know they were going to in the beginning of June but if I remember right, it rained when they were supposed to spray. I'm getting bit up like crazy!!
For past few years, I've worked to attract wood ducks to my yard. I hung Wood Duck house a couple years ago, but didn't have any luck the first year.
Ingredients:
1 frozen container of margarita mix (Bicardi is the best)
1 tray of ice cubes
8 shots of tequila (silver brand is the best)
4 cups cranberry juice
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high. Serve. If you prefer them on the rocks in stead of blending, put it a margarita pitcher and add the ice and stir. A wonderful, refreshing drink!
