Amateur (HAM) radio classes begin Feb. 19

The Litchfield Rescue Squad and the Meeker County Amateur (HAM) Radio Club are sponsoring a class for obtaining a technician class amateur radio operators license. Classes will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, Friday, Feb. 22, Thursday, Feb 28, Tuesday, March 4, Monday, March 10, Thursday, March 1, and Tuesday, March 18 at the Rescue Squad Building, 214 N. Miller Ave., Litchfield.
The cost is $30, payable at the first class, and covers the cost of a “Technician Class License Manual.”

A testing session is scheduled for Thursday, March 27. The cost to take the exam is $14 and is payable on the day of the test.
