Well, I guess I am going to have to concede that winter is here. Waking up to the snow in the driveway and cold temperatures has sealed the deal.

As I was driving from Hutchinson to Litchfield this morning, I had the pleasure of observing a "ringneck" pheasant in full flight. If you haven't seen this, it is a wonderful sight.

Here they are, Ericka's(my cousin's daughter) senior pics. I know some of my relatives keep track of my blog and have been waiting to see these pics. I hope it doesn't spoil it for the "actual" pics that I will be showing her this weekend.

I am going to try to do a little more blogging, and I hope you don't mind my ramblings. It is another Friday and of course I have plenty to do. As far as work goes, it is tearsheet day for me. That is when we go through the Sunday editions and tear out advertisements for customers who would like to see them before the public gets their copies, some hang them up in their stores or use them for other reasons. This time of year is also busy because we have several special editions/sections that we are preparing for.

I am not going to go into all the excuses that I could come up with for not posting as regularly as I had been in the past. Busy, summer, blah, blah, blah. You don't want to hear that. I will however try to catch you up on what has been going on with me in the past few months. First of all, my dog of 13 years past away which was very hard on all of us. My sister got married, my brother in law left for boot camp(marines) and many other things. I have also switched positions within the leader again. I am now doing primarily print advertising again.

Most of you who read my blog know that I am the Internet Advertising Guy for hutchinsonleader.com, so this should come as no surprise that I will be "tooting" my own horn today. We just launched our latest redesign this morning and I think it looks great. It has a fresh, clean look and many navigation improvements to make it easier for our readers to find what they are looking for. If you have a comments good or bad, I would like to hear them. After all, that is what brought about these most recent changes. I hope everyone enjoys the new look and format.
