circa 1985In a recent interview with Reuters, George Clooney said he's considering someday becoming a full-time director.

“Ten years from now, I imagine people will be fairly sick of seeing a lot of us who are on camera now,” Clooney told Reuters. “My hope is I'll be directing more. That is my goal.”

Clooney would be in good company, following other successful actors-turned-directors such as Ron Howard, Penny Marshall, Emilio Estevez and Clint Eastwood.
