johnny deppJohnny Depp solves The Riddler riddle, sort ofSeptember 2, 2008 - 4:07pm — Jorge Sosa
Depp was interviewed a few days ago by the morning crew at Big 105.9, a Miami classic rock station. Depp chatted with DJs Paul and Young Ron in advance of a reunion gig with his old band, The Kids, in Miami last week. When asked if he was playing the part, he replied, "Not that I know of," before adding, "It seems like it’d be a fun gig for awhile, yeah." MPAA Rating: R The Gist: The true-life tale of an undercover cop on the edge. Spring fever for horror fansFebruary 25, 2008 - 5:22pm — Jorge Sosa
"The Mist" is due out in a two-disc collector's edition on March 25 and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" will appear in both one- and two-disc form April 1. I don't think "Sweeney Todd" ever played in our area, so if you didn't get a chance to see it, I recommend at least renting it. Depp and Gilliam previously collaborated on 1998's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." Beth is tickled pink, because that is her birthday. We’ve pretty much got our date figured out for that night. I’ve got one up on Johnny DeppDecember 8, 2006 - 3:32pm — Jorge SosaTuesday’s DVD release of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” yielded pretty good business for Disney. Five million copies of it sold on Dec. 5 alone. Our household accounts for one of them. |
