The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild announced today that regular season single-game home tickets for the club’s 2009-10 season will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 12 at 9:00 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office and 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at all Ticketmaster locations and the new Hockey Lodge store at Maplewood Mall. A limited number of season tickets and ticket partner plans are still available in select sections.
Single-game tickets will go on sale starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office (199 West Kellogg Boulevard) and 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on the Minnesota Wild web site at www.wild.com, and at all Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) locations or charge by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. A limit of four tickets per Premium game and six for remaining games may be purchased per person.
The team will provide free Schweigert hot dogs Friday night and breakfast pastries Saturday morning, along with Coca-Cola products for fans waiting in line to purchase single-game tickets at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office.
Tickets for home games against the New York Rangers on Oct. 30 and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Jan. 11 will only be sold as companion games. The Rangers companion game is the Nov. 18 match against the Phoenix Coyotes. The Penguins companion game is the Oct. 28 contest against the Nashville Predators. Fans that purchase either the Rangers or Penguins game will have the same seat location for the associated companion game.
Minnesota Wild home regular season single-game tickets are available in all price categories starting at $24.00 with a variety of seating locations available including standing room only. A $2.00 facility fee will be added to all Wild single-game tickets. Ticketmaster charges are not included and are not applicable to tickets purchased at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office.
The Wild opens the 2009-10 regular season at Columbus on Saturday, Oct. 3 and hosts the Anaheim Ducks at Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 8:00 p.m. on KSTC.TV and WCCO Radio. Minnesota’s home schedule features 18 weekend games (six on Friday, eight on Saturday and four on Sunday) and four afternoon contests (Nov. 27, Feb. 14, March 7, March 21).
Tickets are currently on sale for the Wild’s three home preseason games at all Ticketmaster locations (www.ticketmaster.com), the Xcel Energy Center Box Office and www.wild.com. Minnesota hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sept. 18 at 7:00 p.m., the Chicago Blackhawks on Sept. 20 at 5:00 p.m. and the St. Louis Blues on Sept. 24 at 7:00 p.m.
