So, what movie are you most looking forward to seeing this weekend? For me, it's "Casino Royale" all the way. I love Bond movies and this one looks fantastic. There might even be some, you know, character development in this one.

Back to page topI'm looking forward to the new James Bond film, too. The film is breaking box office records in England, so it will be interesting to see what it does in the USA. I expect it to do well.

Back to page topI can't say that I'm "looking forward" to seeing the new Bond movie but the look of the new Bond, Daniel Craig, is a very interesting choice and one I am pleased about.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing the animated feature Happy Feet. "Don't push me cuz I'm close to the edge". Once again Robin Williams lends his voice talents to an animated movie. And I don't know if Volver will hit the theaters in town but it's a foreign film, starring Penelope Cruz, that promises to be very good.

Back to page topI don't tend to really get excited about new kids movies. I don't know why that is, because I really enjoy most of them when I get around to seeing them.
I have noticed a trend for a while now, where kids movies will have more subtle jokes and pop culture references in them, aimed at adults.
For instance, before the Wallace and Gromit movie, I think they played a short film starring some critters from Madagascar. I caught a reference to 1969's "Midnight Cowboy." An animated extra in a street scene said, "I'm walkin' here!" after he was nearly run over. I thought it was funny, but would be surprised if any of the little tykes in the audience got it.
