Tigers Wrestling

Last night was the home opener for the Tiger wrestling team. The evening ended with two victories, including a big one over section rival New Ulm.

Yes, it was only Dec. 7, but come section seeding time, this win could loom large for the Tigers in getting a first round bye.

There sure was a nice turnout last night, and in turn, the excitement in the gym for the match was very good. It always seems that a good crowd can help a team get over the top, and in a close match like last night, the support may have been the difference .
