Reese
WitherspoonI'm not usually into screwball Christmas movies but “Four Christmases” sounds like a winner.
Due in theaters next December, the romantic comedy will star Robert Duvall, John Favreau, Tim McGraw, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen, Vince Vaughn, Reese Witherspoon and Dwight Yoakam.
Reuters reports, “The story revolves around a newly married couple (Witherspoon and Vaughn) who decide to brave visits to all sets of their parents for the Christmas holiday - despite the scars each has from being raised in broken homes.”
Seth Gordon, whose previous credits include the documentary “The King of Kong,” is directing. With a killer ensemble cast like that, how can Gordon go wrong?

Back to page topNEVER say "With a killer ensemble cast like that, how can wrong?" That'll get you just about everytime. I've been burned on so many movies that practically guaranteed to be good based on the cast. Here's a couple I can think of off the top of my head:
"America's Sweethearts", starring Billy Crystal, Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones, John Cusack, and Christopher Walken. I didn't make it through 30 minutes of this awful movie. YUCK!
"The Royal Tenenbaums", starring Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Owen and Luke Wilson, Bill Murray, Danny Glover, and Alec Baldwin. I HATED this movie! I guess it's just not my humor, because others loved it.
