Machine Gun Joe's Ram from 'Death Race'By now you may know the '70s cult classic "Death Race 2000" is getting a big-budget remake, courtesy of Universal Studios.

It stars Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Ian McShane and Joan Allen and it's due in theaters Aug. 22. If you can't wait that long for your dose of heavy metal mayhem, the kind folks at Jalopnik have all the information you need to stage your own Death Race.

My favorite is Machine Gun Joe's Dodge Ram. He took the word "ram" quite literally, as you can see. Given my luck with deer, I could probably use a rolling venison factory like that for my daily driver, but all the added armor probably murders that thing's gas mileage.
