I’ve got one up on Johnny Depp

Tuesday’s DVD release of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” yielded pretty good business for Disney. Five million copies of it sold on Dec. 5 alone. Our household accounts for one of them.

My wife, Beth, rarely buys DVDs but she picked that one up on the way home from school that day. She’s been watching the extras and told me that I can do something better than Johnny Depp. This was encouraging, as I was beginning to worry that she might run off with His Royal Cuteness.

Anyway, on one of the featurettes, Depp reveals that he can’t grow a beard very well. I have no trouble in that department. In your face, Captain Jack!
