Secret scene: Stick around after the 'AvP:R' credits

could use a bib“Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem” is due to open in the U.S. on Christmas Day.

Co-director Greg Strause encourages fans to stick around after the closing credits are done, for a sweet “secret scene.”

The fan site Alien Experience asked Strause how “AvP:R,” technically a prequel to the original “Alien” series, will link to the first movie.

“Well, there’s actually a secret scene at the end of the movie,” Strause said, “that kind of sets up, it kind of bridges ... and it kind of shows how human technology leaped forward from where we are in 2007, or whatnot, to how in just a short period of a few decades we’re able to have giant space cruisers.”

Spoken like a true geek. Gotta love it.
