That headline is no joke, according to "Transformers" editor Paul Rubell.
Rubell was one of three main editors on the film, and according to a story posted on Michael Bay's blog, Rubell's biggest influence while working on "Transformers" was "Citizen Kane."
"The point is, good editing is good editing regardless of genreā, Rubell says.
The story has a lot of behind-the-scenes info about the making of the film. It concludes with an interview with director Michael Bay, who reveals he'd like to work on a special, personal project.
"I have a 'Pulp Fiction' type of story called 'Pain and Gain,' a little 35-day shoot if I could find the time," Bay says. "They keep giving me these big action features."
