'Weird' Al Yankovic turns up in 'Halloween 2'

'Weird' Al kind of frightens me.'Weird' Al kind of frightens
me, as do his fans.
Rob Zombie has cast "Weird" Al Yankovic as himself in "H2," the forthcoming sequel to the 2007 remake of "Halloween."

The king of annoying and schlocky parody songs will have a cameo role on a fictional TV talk show, according to Shock Till You Drop. Yankovic will share the guest couch with Malcolm McDowell, reprising his role as psychologist Dr. Sam Loomis.

I'm not sure how that's going to work, since Mike Myers crushed Dr. Loomis' skull with his bare hands at the end of Zombie's "Halloween." Either Loomis' skull-crushing wasn't as severe as it looked, or the talk show segment is a supposed to be a flashback.

For those keeping score at home, this would be the second cameo by a once-popular pop star in as many Zombie-crafted "Halloween" flicks. A rather grizzled-looking Mickey Dolenz appeared in the last one, playing a gun-shop owner.

How in the WORLD does this man still have a career? He was creepy and immature in the 80s, he was creepy and immature in the 90s, and I'm pretty darn sure not much has changed. You'd think that someone who is turning 50 years old this year would have to grow up sometime, but nope — Creepy and immature still selling. I don't get it. At all.
