By now, you've probably heard the Writers Guild of America strike (in effect since Nov. 5) is holding up production of several movies and TV series, killing some projects altogether.
How desperate will Hollywood studios get before they settle with the striking writers?
Well, consider the case of the popular ’80s TV series “Moonlighting,” which starred a pre-“Die Hard” Bruce Willis, Cybill Shepherd and Curtis Armstrong (aka Booger from “Revenge of the Nerds.”)
The last time the WGA went on strike — in 1988 — the cast of “Moonlighting” resorted to unusual (dare I say, profane?) lengths to fill dead air.
Watch this clip and recoil in horror.
