Red Cross sponsors motorcycle ride

The McLeod County Chapter of American Red Cross is sponsoring “The Ride for the Red,” Saturday, June 7. Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. at the McLeod County Fairgrounds, 840 Century Ave. S.W., Hutchinson. The ride begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds, with door prize drawings and a beautiful bike contest.

Riders can also join the ride at 11 a.m. at the Waseca County Red Cross office, 511 S. State St., Waseca.

The ride is also open to classic cars and the public.

Registration is $10 for the ride, T-shirts for $10, $5 for a meal, and entry into the bike contest is $5, or buy the entire package for $25. Money raised from the event will go to the local Red Cross chapters.
