Here is one thing to remember about being old enough to go to war but not old enough to drink. While not perfect, Boot Camp offers young men and women training on becoming a soldier. How to handle weapons, the pressures of battle, how to protect yourself and the risks and dangers of war. When it comes to drinking (at any age) there is no 3 month boot camp training people how to handle alcohol and the risks and dangers of using it.

I don't agree with lowering the drinking age. But I've always wondered if they're not old enough to drink, are they really old enough to go to war?
