dragon I am sure you have been to sa before.who ever is doing this knows when to hit this store. this driver probably parks where the truck can not be seen too good, hidden by other vehicals. Now I was there on monday and recall seeing this truck and it was fairly busy. at this time frame inside the store they are busy with doing things. they may of not been aware and there may of been someone new.

I'm wondering why the store employees haven't been able to get this trucks license plate number? I understand not being able to get it the first time, since they didn't know this person was going to leave without paying for their gas, but after the second and third time?

This is such good news even

This is such good news even though it may be a bit late for my family. My son started Tamiflu today as prescribed by his doctor for flu symptoms. Since they don't test for H1N1 unless you are hospitalized, we'll hope not to find out for certain if that is what he has. My hope is that with close monitoring we can avoid him being hospitalized, even though he is in the high risk category since he has asthma.

Thank you to everyone who offered words of support and understanding during this struggle to get him vaccinated. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers while he fights off this infection.

Justlisahere - I find it funny that in another post you complain of drivers not obeying traffic laws, but then you make this post sympathizing with a homeowner who obviously disobeyed height restrictions. I also don't understand how you can assume the neighbors are snobs for simply standing up for their rights. I believe most people would grow tired of a 4 year construction job next door that could negatively affect already decreasing home values.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. First you say that this vehicle decided to go through a yellow light minus the caution. Then you say that you darned near almost hit this same vehicle because it stopped for no reason in the middle of the road because the light turned yellow?...So how could both of this happen? Also, big deal if the driver was talking to the passenger the entire time? Are you saying that people who are driving shouldn't even talk?

maybe you came darn close to hitting this "yahoo" because you were following too closely. if you were paying attention and were not following too closely, you would not have come darn close to hitting this vehicle. fyi, i always make complete stops and sometimes get laughed at by my passengers for making complete stops even when there isn't anyone else on the road.

You know the economy is bad.People fall on bad times. There could of been a variety of reasons as to why this was not completed. But to me it sounds like there are some stuck snobby neighbores these poor people ahve to put up with.

canthelpbutlaugh,
It is just

canthelpbutlaugh,

It is just more than being on the phone or what ever else. It is called people obeying the driving laws. People never do a full stop or when at a four way they assumed they got the right of way and just zoom on thru and it just is not there.Yesterday a person driving a white yukon downtown decided to just go on thru a yellow light minus the caution. It was after 4:30. By dairy queen. Now I was minding my own business when the yukon in front of me for no reason stopped. I in case that yahoo is reading this was the silver yukon behind you that had children in it.I came darned close to hitting that vehical because of out of no where this yahoo ups decides to stop in the middle of the road because the light turned yellow. I was not going fast either. 25 mph. My daughter had told me I was being a slow poke and I said no. good thing I was. what was this person in front of me doing from I could see? talking to someone in the passgneger seat the entire time.
It seems like no one takes their priveledges as a driver very seriously.people are buzzing thru the stop lights, stop sighns four ways and speeding thru school zones. It is called people are always in a rush and never leaving early enough.

How about people just pay

How about people just pay attention? How hard is it to see a stop sign, especially ones this big and now with flashing LED lights surrounding them, even if you are not used to it? And, why, when there were a few crashes along with a number of near misses, is it the county's fault, "because they changed the way it has been done for years!"! It is pretty simple, when you are driving a car, you are responsible for paying attention to the roadway and your surroundings, not doing your hair, talking on the cell phone, texting, etc.........

Perhaps even more than the turrets in question, neighbors last week told the council that perhaps their greatest concern is that construction on the unfinished house has stretched on for as much as 4 1/2 years with long periods of no work taking place. With it has come construction materials blowing around the neighborhood, a dumpster in the driveway much of the time, the door to the house left open and the cul-de-sac becoming something of a tourist attraction with gawkers driving into it to take a look.

Ya, I get the shoreline bit, dawg. It was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. The Crow River's not exactly Lake Minnetonka. I'm just sayin'. I guess I should leave the humor to Slingblade and tms. Unlike you, I don't know anyone in that hood but it doesn't sound like I'm missin' out on much. As someone who passes by on the way to work, I'd say the neighbors are big on wine and cheese (hold the cheese). Right neighborly folks, don't ya think?

It seems to me that this is a group of neighbors that are intent on being jerks to each other. I think it is fairly funny looking on from the outside as they probably all deserve each other knowing who all the involved parties are. As far as the Crow river having a shoreline district, I think the district is defined as to the proximity to water, not how attractive the actual shoreline is as implied my Uncle Ted.
