Book signing to take place in Dassel

Ronda Sarner Anderson, author of “Weezer the Sneezer Finds a Home,” will sign her new book from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Little Red Hen, 261 Atlantic Ave. W., Dassel. Anderson credits a writers workshop she attended last winter through Dassel-Cokato Community Education for providing the inspiration she needed to finish the children’s book she was writing.

The Boy Scout statue at Boy Scout Park in Hutchinson was installed Friday, Sept. 25. Although the weather was overcast and very rainy, the workmen erected the statue without a mishap.

'The Curious Savage' opens tonight

Hutchinson Theatre Company's fall dinner theater production, "The Curious Savage," opens tonight at 7 p.m. at the Peace Center, 400 Franklin St. S.W., Hutchinson. The play runs through Saturday, Nov. 7, and will run for a second weekend, Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 12-14. Tickets are $30 per person and include dinner and the show. Tickets can be purchased at the Hutchinson Area Chamber office, Clay Coyote and online. For more information, call Betsy Price at (320) 587-2599.
