Congress has mandated Feb. 17, 2009, as last day for the full-power television stations to broadcast in analog. After that, over-the-air TV broadcasts will only be in digital. The leap from popular TV cartoon to big screen movie doesn't guarantee box office gold as "Speed Racer" proved this weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, "Iron Man" continued its grip on ticket sales ringing in another $50 million. "Speed Racer" came in second earning $20,210,000, barely sneaking past "What Happened in Vegas," with $20,000,000. He’s finishing his music education classes at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, while preparing to direct the Hutchinson Theatre Company’s summer musical comedy “Once Upon a Mattress.” Fahey will be in town next week to conduct auditions. Tryouts are scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
