A representative of the Legal Advocacy for Older Americans Project will meet with senior citizens at the following times and places:

• 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 9, Plaza 15 Senior Center, 1005 State Hwy. 15 S., Hutchinson

Attorneys and paralegals for the project can assist seniors with problems in Social Security, Medicare, Medical Assistance, food stamps and fuel assistance. In addition, the project handles problems with housing, consumer law and insurance to supplement Medicare. The services are provided without charge, however, donations can be accepted.

Acoma Acorns 4-H Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 9, at Cedar Mills Rod and Gun Club. Demonstrations by Joe and Mike Schluter, and Mathew Erickson will begin the evening, followed by a meeting.
The theme for the evening is “Hat Night.” Everyone attending is asked to wear a hat, and to bring a dish to pass. The Bob Schluter family will provide beverages.
