The Gopher Campfire Club monthly meeting is Tuesday, July 8, at the clubhouse, 24718 County Road 7, Hutchinson. There is a meal beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 8 p.m. For more information, call Keith Berwald at (320) 587-8602.

A support group to help smokers quit smoking will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Shalom Baptist Church, 1215 Roberts Road S.W., Hutchinson. Al-Anon meetings take place at 8 p.m. Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. Saturdays at the Alano Club, 1170 State Highway 7 W., Hutchinson.

Al-Anon is based on the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous and has as its purpose helping families with addictions. Those attending find that what they learn helps in many other aspects of their lives.
