The Bear Lake Sunshine Society will meet at noon Wednesday, July 9 at Peace Lutheran Church, 400 Franklin St. S.W., Hutchinson for a recital and luncheon.

A business meeting will follow. Members are encouraged to bring a guest.

Al-Anon meetings take place at 8 p.m. Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. Saturdays at the Alano Club, 1170 State Highway 7 W., Hutchinson.

Al-Anon is based on the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous and has as its purpose helping families with addictions. Those attending find that what they learn helps in many other aspects of their lives.
