In addition to a business meeting, volunteer training in preparation for natural disasters or single family disaster assistance will be conducted. Highland Park Drive N.E., Hutchinson. The discussion topic will focus on the Minnesota River Living Systems Project and its goal of improving water quality in the watershed. The Watershed Alliance is an organized network of citizens, public agencies and private organizations dedicated to communicating the benefits of an ecology-healthy Minnesota River watershed and working towards watershed improvement and protection. more info
