Soon-to-be freshmen Abby McKimm and Patience Duscher soaked in the rays while testing their algebra skills during Jami Beffert’s sidewalk chalk math class. The activity is a part of the High School 101 program offered again this summer to prepare incoming ninth-graders for the first year in the new school.
