LETTER: Many reasons to appreciate the staff at District 423

I am proud to introduce the Hutchinson Public School staff! As superintendent of schools, words cannot describe the gratitude and appreciation I have for these caring and committed people. The Hutchinson Public Schools motto is “Excellence in Academics, Activities, and Character.” It truly takes a team effort to strive for excellence for all students. It does not matter what position you hold within the schools, every job is significant to student success.

My appreciation extends to all the employees within our schools who impact students’ lives in a variety of ways.

I appreciate the job our bus drivers do everyday getting students to school and home safely.

I appreciate the custodial and maintenance staff who keep our schools clean and safe.

I appreciate our food service staff for providing nutritious food that enables our students to focus on learning.

I appreciate all of our support staff professionals who provide the assistance necessary to ensure learning within the classroom.

I appreciate those in leadership positions for keeping our buildings running smoothly and challenging all students to fulfill their individual potential.

I appreciate the employees who are behind the scenes contributing to our success.

I appreciate the teachers who have dedicated their professional careers to instill a love of learning in their students. These teachers serve as role models for our students to become creative thinkers, problem solvers and future leaders.

Hutchinson schools are fortunate to have supportive parents and a community who values quality education. I am privileged to serve our families and the community.

“Excellence in Academics, Activities, and Character” describes our commitment to providing students with a well rounded educational experience that will prepare them for success in life, regardless of the road they choose. Please take a moment sometime this week to thank a current Hutchinson Public School staff member who has made a positive impact on your child’s educational experience.
