ST. PAUL — Exporters who are concerned about the worldwide credit crisis and its potential effect on their ability to conduct business overseas are invited to a forum presented by the Minnesota Trade Office.
“Export Financing Forum: Managing the Credit Crunch” takes place 8:30 to 11:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, 1st National Bank Building, in downtown St. Paul. Registration begins at at 8 a.m.
The forum will help Minnesota exporters plan their financial strategies during this period of uncertainty. Experts from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Trade Acceptance Group, Bremer Bank and Dorsey & Whitney law firm will participate. It is designed primarily for business owners and financial executives who are responsible for financial strategies and want to reduce risk to their export operations.
