A retail trade analysis of the Hutchinson market originally scheduled for December will now take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at the Hutchinson Event Center.
The session will give Hutchinson-area retailers the opportunity to learn the strengths and opportunities of this trade area. University of Minnesota regional extension educator David Nelson, who gave a similar presentation in 2006, will talk about sales figures for 2005 to 2007. His visit is being sponsored by the Hutchinson Economic Authority and the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau.
People planning to attend the free session should RSVP to Chamber President Bill Corby by calling (320) 234-0785, or e-mailing him at bill@explorehutchinson.com.
