Halloween fun for children is offered at the following venues Friday, Oct. 31:
< Trick-or treaters can showcase their costumes at Burns Manor Nursing Home, 135 North High Drive, Hutchinson, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.
< Trick-or-treaters are welcome from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at The Oaks and The Pines, 945 and 1015 Century Ave. S.W., Hutchinson.
< Halloween Party with games and prizes, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Cosmos Legion, 12 Venus N.; (320) 877-7525.
< Halloween Trick-or-Treat Parade, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Hutchinson Mall, 1060 State Highway 15 S. Assemble in the center court area and bring a bag to collect treats. There’s no charge to attend and the public is welcome.
< Harvest Party, 6 to 8 p.m. at Word of Life Church, 950 School Road
S.W., Hutchinson. Free admission. Activities include inflatables,
games, dark maze and more. Dress up in fun costumes and join the fun;

< 25th annual Citywide Halloween Party, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the McLeod County Fairgrounds. Booths, candy, pop and popcorn for all children attending. Door prizes by age group and gender. No adults wearing masks will be admitted. No pets. There’s no charge to attend and the public is welcome. A collection bin will be placed at the door for donations of nonperishable food items for the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf.
