Although the weather was gloomy, moods were upbeat during the installation of Deb Zeller’s sculptures in downtown Sioux City, Iowa, a week ago Saturday.
Zeller, the daughter of Grant and Eleen Knutson of Hutchinson, had two pieces, “Maggie Mae” and “The Plunge,” accepted for this year’s Sculpt Siouxland Exhibit.
The yearlong exhibit features sculpture from local and national artists displayed on downtown streets. It is organized by the Sioux City Growth Organization with the purpose of drawing foot traffic to downtown destinations and provide a public art experience for the community.
