Artwork created by veterans will be on public display from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Marc 6, at the St. Cloud VA Medical Medical Center’s Auditorium (Building 8), 4801 Veterans Drive.
More than 60 pieces of art will be exhibited from among 52 different categories including fine art (painting, drawing, sculpture and photography), applied art (ceramics, woodcarving, needlework and leatherwork), and craft kits (string art, poster art and fabric art).
Local area artists will judge the artwork to determine first, second and third place in each category and the first place winning pieces will advance to a national show, where artists will compete with entries submitted by veterans from other VA facilities around the country.
