As the night of the grand gala nears, excitement runs high for students planning to attend prom. Many arrangements have been made for this special night. Prom carries with it many great traditions based in having a good time. The memories made will last a long time. Students, how many of your parents have told you about their prom experience? Many, I am sure.
Those memories will be best remembered if they are done in a way that allows you to remember them. I can distinctly recall the events of my prom experience. That is because they were done without the influence of alcohol. I want to live to remember the important events of my life. If you were to ask anyone who has abused alcohol, it is often that most of the details are not clear.
Alcohol can lead to some embarrassing moments when other people have to tell you what you did. That is not a way I like to enjoy a memory. In fact, it is rather embarrassing to be told how you acted in the name of a “good time.” Even if you normally drink as a high school student, don’t do it during prom where the various social pressures and expectations are already high.
