CHEERS/JEERS (Aug. 26)

Cheers to our neighbors who caught our dogs and took care of them while we were at work Wednesday morning. The dogs escaped from our house while we were gone and were running loose. Our wonderful neighbors took care of them until we returned.

Jeers to the person(s) who took my daughter’s bottle from her diaper bag while we were shopping Friday, Aug. 15. Was it done as a joke? If so, it wasn’t funny. Was it done because you needed a bottle? If so, next time please ask and I will gladly buy you a new one.

Jeers to the people who were driving in the red car on the evening of Aug. 19, and shattered the back side window of my van with a hockey puck while my van was parked in the 600 block of Main Street South.
Hope you’re still laughing! I’m sure you have made your parents proud of your actions.
Let’s see … what bills should I miss this month … electric, water, phone or just half my rent, so I can pay for your enjoyment!
I would also like to send a cheers to the person who reported the act to the police.
Cheers to the officer who knocked on my door at 10 p.m. so I wouldn’t have to wake up and find broken glass at 6:15 a.m. on my way to work.
Cheers also to the neighbor who came with duct tape and a cardboard box and fixed the hole while I swept glass from the road. He also offered his Shop Vac to clean up the glass inside my van. What a wonderful act of kindness!
