A man who lead authorities on a Grove City manhunt earlier this week now faces five charges, including three felony drug charges.
Devin Delbert Donald Blom was arrested Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 20) after eluding police who attempted to pull him over Tuesday night in rural Grove City. Blom was charged with third-degree felony sale of phencyclidine or hallucinogens, fifth-degree felony possession of 2 1/2 grams of methamphetamine, fifth-degree felony possession of 13 pounds of marijuana, fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor driving after suspension.
Potential penalties for the charges, if Blom is convicted, include 20 years in jail and/or a $250,000 fine for the drug sale charge, five years in jail and/or a $10,000 fine for each of the two drug possession charges, three years in jail and a $5,000 fine for the charge of fleeing a peace officer, and 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine for the charge of driving after suspension.
Blom’s bail was set at $200,000. His next court date is an Oct. 24 pretrial hearing in Meeker County.
