Authorities arrested a man wanted in connection with a Watertown shooting Thursday afternoon (May 1) in Winsted.
Ryan Carl Lindeen, 44, allegedly came to the State Highway 25 home of a male relative early Thursday morning. A dispute and struggle over a .22-calibre rifle followed. The rifle discharged and a woman present was struck in the upper arm and lower leg.
The Carver County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call at 6:21 a.m. Lindeen allegedly left the scene with a .22-caliber rifle and handgun. He was arrested at 3:30 p.m. in Winsted.
The woman was taken to the hospital, treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. Lindeen is currently in police custody with charges pending.
