Crash results in minor injuries

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 15 and 150th Street south of Hutchinson at about 9:41 p.m. Sunday sent three people to Hutchinson Community Hospital.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2002 Saturn driven by Shelly Mielke, 38, of Hutchinson failed to stop for a stop sign and broadsided a 2005 Chrysler driven by Kurt Selle, 46, of Brownton. Mielke was treated and released at the scene.

Selle and two passengers, Beth Selle, 41, and Rachel Selle, 16, were taken to Hutchinson Community Hospital. Kurt and Beth Selle were treated for minor injuries and released. Rachel Selle had no apparent injuries, according to the State Patrol.

The drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts. The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Hutchinson Fire Department and Hutchinson Ambulance assisted at the scene.
