Free childhood screenings offered through May

Hutchinson School District 423 is now offering free early childhood screenings to help identify health and developmental concerns.

Screenings are mandatory for all kids before they start kindergarten. Parents of children ages 3 and 4 can learn of delays in areas such as vision, hearing or speech, and get connected to resources for help.

Dates for upcoming screenings are Oct. 29 and 30, Nov. 13 and 20, Jan. 22, 2010, Feb. 4, 5, 18 and 19, 2010, April 29 and 30, 2010 and May 7, 2010.
