Challenging fun

This past Saturday, Andy Cotter and Irene Genelin sponsored Down on the Farm, a mountain unicycling and trials competition at their farm in rural southwest Hutchinson. The two riders have 10 world unicycle titles between them. Saturday’s event attracted about 30 competitors ranging in age from 9 to 50, who participated in trials ranging from jumping from log to log, balancing along thin sections to bouncing up and down steps and more. The mountain unicycling part of the event featured a two-mile trail that meandered through Cotter’s farm, but offered many challenges.
