A 44-year-old Hutchinson woman faces a possible felony charge after police found drug paraphernalia in the motel room her family was living in.
Hutchinson police went to the Economy Inn, 200 State Highway 7 E., about 11:30 a.m., Feb. 19, to speak to a guest about possible controlled substances. They spoke with a 16-year-old boy, but the woman was not present. Police seized drug paraphernalia they found.
A report will be sent to the McLeod County Attorney seeking a charge of methamphetamine-related crime involving children for the possible use of the drug in the presence of children.
