Greenleaf state park hearing next week

State Rep. Dean Urdahl wants local residents to comment at a hearing on a proposed Greenleaf State Park next Tuesday.

The House Capital Investment Committee will host a hearing at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, in the basement of the State Office Building, 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Saint Paul.

Meeker County will provide transportation to the capital that day for those who want it. Call the Meeker County Administrator’s office, (320) 693-5200, by 2 p.m., Friday, March 9, to arrange a ride. Because of township elections, Meeker County’s transportation will return to Litchfield by 6:30 p.m. Call Meeker County Administrator Paul Virnig at (320) 693-5200 if you have questions.
