I envy the comic book geeks.
On the afternoon of Friday, July 27, attendees at the San Diego Comic-Con will get a preview of the 25th anniversary "Blade Runner" final cut.
If you don't know what "Blade Runner" is, I'll put it this way. Remember "The Matrix?" Without "Blade Runner," there would be no "Matrix."
Whoa.
Details on the U.S. release of the "Blade Runner: Ultimate Collection [1]" are expected to be released.
A panel of guests will include director Ridley Scott, stars Sean Young, Joanna Cassidy, Joe Turkel (I thought he was dead! [3]), James Hong, designer and "visual futurist" Syd Mead, special effects guy Mark Stetson and DVD producer Charlie De Lauzirika.
Needless to say, as soon as I can find out more about the DVD release (and a possible theatrical release for the final cut), I will post the dirt [4] on this blog.
