Once the euphoria of returning home from an overseas tour of duty had passed, families were still struggling to come together as a unit.

Imagine what it would be like to be separated from your husband or wife for a year or more and then coming back together. As joyous as this reunion might be, changes would have been made by each of the partners during their absences from each other.
