A nine-hour workshop for prospective homebuyers will be offered over two days from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, and Thursday, April 10, at Meeker County Family Service Center, 114 N. Holcombe Ave. Suite 200, Litchfield.

The workshop, called Home Stretch, teaches the basics of home purchasing. It is taught by local lenders, Realtors and other housing professionals.

Participants will analyze their housing needs to learn how to buy a home, obtain a mortgage loan, prevent foreclosure, learn budgeting and save for home ownership and basics of home maintenanceFee for the workshop is $35 per household.
