Gerard Butler
in '300'Yahoo Movies [1] just released a hilarious list of The 10 Most Historically Inaccurate Movies.
Mel Gibson gets an D-minus in history, as three films he's been affiliated with — “Apocalypto,” “The Patriot” and “Braveheart” — made the list.
The list also includes “10,000 B.C.,” which is apparently the most unrealistic portrait of prehistoric humankind since “The Flintstones.”
“300” was a real crowd pleaser from last year, despite (or perhaps because of) its inaccurate portrayal of history. As the Yahoo eggheads note, “The warriors of Sparta went into battle wearing bronze armor, not just leather Speedos.”
