A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday, April 28, after Hutchinson police stopped him driving a car apparently stolen in Stearns County.
The man, with no permanent address, was arrested in the area of Fifth Avenue Northwest and Glen Street. Officers had checked the license plates of the 1993 Oldsmobile and learned it was reported stolen.
The suspect was booked and taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. He has not yet been charged, but police are seeking a complaint through the McLeod County Sheriff’s office on charges of auto theft, possession of a small amount of marijuana and violating an instructional driving permit.
