A two-vehicle accident on State Highway 22 north of Glencoe Monday afternoon sent one driver to the hospital.

According to a report issued by Minnesota State Patrol, a 2001 Pontiac Montana driven by Carolina Ramirez, 24, of Glencoe was waiting to turn left into a private lot, when her vehicle was rear-ended by a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro. Ramirez and her passengers, Wendy Barrera, 5, and Islam Barrera, 1, both of Glencoe, were not injured in the accident.

The driver of the Camaro, a juvenile, was treated at Glencoe Regional Health Services and released. The State Patrol did not release the name of the second driver as charges are pending.

Glencoe Ambulance assisted at the scene.
