This year’s Minnesota State Fair offers more than 100 acts at eight free venues and top stars including Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley at the grandstand. There’s also more than 450 food choices, along with hundreds of the nation’s best agricultural, educational and commercial exhibits and attractions.
Minnesota’s biggest and best end-of-summer celebration takes place Thursday, Aug. 21, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.
If you’re planning to head to the Twin Cities for the Great Minnesota Get-Together, save yourself some money by buying your tickets in advance.
Advance admission tickets are $8. During the State Fair the price is $11 for adults, $8 for youth 5 to 12 years, and $9 for seniors 65 or older.
Advance Midway/Kidway tickets are $10 for 20 tickets. During the State Fair the price is $20 for 30 tickets or $30 for 50 tickets.
Advance Blue Ribbon Bargain Books are $4. During the State Fair the price is $5.
Tickets are available 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce office, 2 Main St. through Wednesday, Aug. 20, or while supplies last. For more information, call the Chamber at (320) 587-5252.
