Saturday, Dec. 5: Pioneer Christmas at the Forest City Stockade

If you're yearning for an old-fashioned Christmas experience, head to the 14th annual Pioneer Christmas at the Forest City Stockade. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, six miles northeast of Litchfield along State Highway 24. Admission: $3 for adults, 12 or younger are free. This event features Santa Claus, holiday music, pioneer crafts, outdoor demonstrations, food and refreshments. Dress for the weather.
