Students make park pretty

Rolling on a new coat of paint on the Kiwanis (Rocket Hill) Park shelter on Fifth Avenue Northwest on Monday was Trevaughn Walton of Denver. He was among about two dozen junior high-age kids helping to clean up the park as part of Maplewood Academy’s annual 10-day church camp taking place this week, said Jeff Scoggins, one of four adult leaders of the group.
